Dubmatix once again delivers an epic production with this remix of ‘Takeover’, taken from The Drop’s debut album ‘Last Stand’. The Canadian composer, producer, multi- instrumentalist and seven-time JUNO Award winner and nominee hails from Toronto but has carved out a massive following on the international stage. He is a recording machine, from his debut release Champion Sound Clash in 2004, the Toronto-born Dubmatix has gone on to produce and record over 500 releases (Albums, EPs, Dubs, Remixes).
Teaming up with The Drop on this track he creates a superb heavyweight banger, with a phat rolling bassline and his signature, creative percussion work adding to the groove. Keeping all the lyrical content from the original vocal by The Drop’s singer Dandelion, the strong political message stays intact.
